Today BlockBrick is a property research platform for Malta. You can browse analysed listings on Market Watch, compare rent and cost assumptions, and see the risks and data gaps for each property. In the future, subject to legal and regulatory approval, BlockBrick may introduce regulated fractional property access.

No. BlockBrick is pre-launch. You can research properties, join the waitlist, suggest properties, or request the investor deck. Future fractional access, if introduced, will be subject to legal and regulatory approval and eligibility checks.

Is BlockBrick a crowdfunding platform?

Accepted Answer

Not today. BlockBrick is currently a property intelligence and research platform. We help users understand Maltese property opportunities through Market Watch, area insights, scenario modelling, and due-diligence tools. A future regulated access model may be explored, but it is not live.

What does fractional property access mean?

Accepted Answer

Fractional property access means accessing a property opportunity in smaller portions rather than buying an entire property yourself. It is similar in concept to crowd investing, but the exact legal structure matters. BlockBrick does not currently offer fractional access, crowdfunding, securities, or investment products. Any future model would require legal and regulatory approval, KYC/AML checks, and eligibility rules.

Is BlockBrick for property owners or investors?

Both, in different ways. Owners and agents can submit properties for review. Researchers and future investors can browse listings, compare assumptions and join the waitlist. BlockBrick does not sell investments today.

Accepted Answer

Through the property submission and suggestion forms, partner enquiries, estate-agent outreach and referrals. Every property is reviewed before it is accepted; nothing is added automatically.

Is BlockBrick regulated?

Not yet. BlockBrick is pre-launch and does not offer investments. We are investigating the EU Crowdfunding Regulation (ECSPR) route, for which Malta's MFSA is the competent authority. Any launch is subject to legal, regulatory and licensing approvals.

No. BlockBrick is planned around euro payments and a simple user experience. Blockchain infrastructure would work in the background where appropriate.

No. Property is naturally illiquid. Any future transfer or exit window would depend on legal structure, buyer demand, platform rules and regulatory approval.

AI already powers a few research tools: the site assistant, the “Ask about this property” panel, AI summaries on listing pages and the plain-language explanations in the calculator. The team also uses it for data-quality checks. It supports human due diligence and does not replace it, and its answers are not advice.

Can AI guarantee which properties will perform best?

No. AI can help organise data and identify signals, but property outcomes depend on market demand, costs, rent, legal issues, renovations, vacancy and many other risks.

Which blockchain will BlockBrick use?

Accepted Answer

None has been selected, deliberately. For real-world assets the legal structure matters more than the chain name: any infrastructure must support investor eligibility controls, compliant transfers, document timestamping and audit trails. The technical direction is covered on the methodology page.

Will BlockBrick have its own crypto token?

Accepted Answer

No public crypto token is planned at this stage. BlockBrick is intended to be euro-first and property-first. Any future digital records would be designed around investor rights and compliance, not speculation.
